Playa Arrocito is a beautiful, secluded beach located in the upscale Residential Arrocito neighborhood of Huatulco, Mexico, nestled between Tangolunda Bay and Chahue Bay. It’s known for its calm waters, shallow depths, and ideal conditions for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. The area is highly sought after for its stunning coastal views and proximity to other popular Huatulco Bays. The beach is named Playa El Arrocito (Little Rice Beach) and features sand that resembles rice grains, making it soft underfoot. The water is crystal-clear turquoise with calm wave conditions and a gradual slope leading to deeper water, making it suitable for families with young children. A reef bank located a short distance offshore creates excellent snorkeling conditions. The beach offers shared pools, poolside loungers, and a quiet location. Activities include swimming, snorkeling, diving, beach relaxation, and beach hopping to nearby beaches. It’s approximately 3 minutes by vehicle to Tangolunda Bay and 5 minutes to Santa Cruz.
